Breaking News: Fresno City College Campus Reopens After Major Water Line Crisis!

A Special Update from the President:
We’re thrilled to announce that Fresno City College (FCC) will officially reopen its doors on Thursday, February 5. This decision comes after a challenging period where a severe issue with the college’s main water lines forced us to temporarily close. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their patience and understanding during this unexpected disruption.
But here’s where it gets tricky: While the campus is reopening, additional testing on the water lines leading to Building A is still underway. As a precaution, we strongly advise all faculty, staff, and students to avoid drinking tap water in Building A until further notice. Rest assured, the restrooms in Building A are fully operational and safe to use. Please keep an eye out for posted signs throughout the building for important updates and guidelines.
And this is the part most people miss: The swift resolution of this crisis wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of our Building Services Department. Their dedication and hard work ensured that we could reopen as quickly as possible. Additionally, several events were postponed or relocated this week to honor prior commitments and maintain our event schedule. We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation during this time.
